Seedlings of Jannah is pleased to collaborate with Jame Masjid Mississauga to provide a unique children's learning experience.
Join us on Sunday, June 18th to learn about the value of sacrifice. It takes much sacrifice to travel and perform the Hajj, as we will see through your study of the history of Hajj travel in the 18th-century Moghul Empire. Through S.T.E.A.M-inspired activities, your child will have the opportunity to design, build and test their own ship to transport courageous Hajjis to the Hejaz. Through our interactive readaloud 'Yan's Hajj: The Journey of a Lifetime,' students will explore the theme of sacrifice as Yan serves his community. Lastly, children will reflect on what sacrifice means in their personal lives while connecting with the story of Prophet Ibrahim ('alayhis salaam).
