We are thrilled to announce IPC’s first-ever Art Competition and Auction! Details are as follows:

• Ages 15-24 years old are allowed to participate!

• The art competition submission will be online where a video will also be required to prove the ownership of the art piece.

• The art piece must be brought to the masjid and then there will be public voting on the following Friday.

• After the voting the top 5 art pieces will be auctioned off and the winner will get a percentage of the money. The rest will go to the masjid as a donation.

Theme: POWER IN ISLAM

Here are a couple rules that must be followed while making the art piece

• No portraits of self or others

• No depictions, realistic or otherwise, of celebrities, famous people from history, religious figures, religious or cultural icons

• No depiction of any men and women in any capacity whatsoever.

• Theme must be followed or reflected in the art piece (Does not have to directly relate to it, but can indirectly reflect the theme.)

📍Location: 5761 Coopers Ave, Mississauga, ON L4Z 1R9, Jame Masjid (Islamic Propagation Center of Ontario)

🗓️ Art Drop-off at the Masjid: Wednesday August 25 from maghrib to Isha

🗓️ Art Competition Voting: Saturday August 26 from 2:00 pm to 8:00pm

🗓️ Art Auction: Saturday August 26 after maghrib

(The dates for the voting and auction will be updated on the website)

(Winners will be notified before the auction)
