IPC Jame Masjid Mississauga hosted their annual Summer Camp this year and one of the field trips was a trip to GlowZone 360 Mississauga, an indoor place full of various fun activities. This trip was aimed for the students aged 10-13 while the younger kids aged 4-9 enjoyed their day at Jumbaloo. This was a delightful trip for both the campers and counsellors. Everyone enjoyed activities including an entertaining game of laser tag which made for an enjoyable and challenging experience for the kids. Moreover, there were many special glow-in-the-dark mini golf holes with various fun and interesting themes making the golfing experience unreal.
The day started with camp counsellors leading the campers in their daily morning duaas. We escorted the kids who were full of excitement to the buses and watched them throughout the trip to our destination. As we reached Glowzone, we got off the bus and entered the magical place, watching the kids' faces light up with excitement! Later we made groups and started our fun activities, one group played two rounds of laser tag, while the other group enjoyed mini golf. After the tiring and fun game of laser tag, the campers had their lunches and built up their energy to resume the fun. Once the lunch break was done the first group proceeded to the exciting glow-in-the-dark mini golf area. The second group took their turn at laser tag and had lots of fun as they had a different game mode compared to the first group.
When the buses arrived, the campers quickly got back on to get back to the masjid. On the ride back, the bus was full of campers talking about their fun experience and the best part of the trip. Every student entered the masjid with a backpack and lunch but left with tons of stories to tell about their adventures.
