Seeking to hire an office administrator/ bookkeeper.

Qualifications Required:
*English speaking with excellent moral character and communication skills
*Relevant educational / professional designations:
*Familiarity with business accounting software packages and knowledge of cash handling principles and bank processing knowledge
*Proficient with Microsoft Office
*Self-motivated, able to work productively with minimal supervision, and a team player
Responsibilities:
*Reconciling and maintaining internal accounts and entering all financial data into accounting software
*Prepare / review financial statements (monthly, semi-annual General Body Meeting)
*Preparing General Ledger entries, Payroll processing, Prepare and complete HST filing
*Assist with annual tax returns and prepare annual organizational budgets, charitable tax receipts
*Reconcile bank accounts, deposits, create cheques, and assist in audits as required
*Administration of Banquet Hall, monitoring bookings and payments
*Creating the care takers schedule and monitoring their work
*Other duties as assigned by management / trustee team members
Schedule:
Total approx 40 hrs weekly
Tuesday to Saturday, 2 pm to 10 pm
Sunday and Monday– off
